Marketing Director

Towpath Credit Union | August 2018 – March 2021

Worked across all departments and levels of the credit union to plan and activate strategic marketing campaigns to achieve company business objectives of loan portfolio growth, member engagement and increased market share.

Managed day-to-day marketing tasks, including thought leadership, email marketing, website content, press releases, graphic design, social media, analytics and reporting.

Coordinated with HR and the CEO to plan and execute internal communications via emails, staff newsletters, and Microsoft 365 (Sharepoint, Teams, Planner).

Collaborated closely with the Executive Leadership Team to write, design and implement an annual strategic marketing plan and budget, as well as Annual Reports. Presented at monthly town hall meetings, annual all-staff events, and annual board meetings.

Additional Highlights
2020: I was selected as an emerging leader in the credit union industry to attend the Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) in Washington, DC, where I met with lawmakers and advocated for policies that benefit credit unions and their members.

2019: I successfully planned and implemented a marketing strategy for a new branch opening, from crafting communications and managing vendors to designing billboards and selecting decor.

2018: I helped refine the company’s branding, including updating brand guidelines and crafting a company vision, mission statement, purpose, and branding. I also redesigned newsletters for both internal and external audiences.
